My name is Misty! I am 5 years old and I weigh 14 lbs. I was surrendered to the rescue by a professional breeder. My previous owner bred Bichons to show and I won Champion. I was retired at 5 years old. I am fostered in Mount Airy, North Carolina but easy, affordable transportation is available. I'm a very sweet, loving little girl! I get along well with the other dogs in the foster home ranging from 5 lbs. to 100 lbs., and young to 18 years old. I'm not sure about cats because the rescue doesn't have any, but I'm not big enough to hurt one. I'm good with children but I will not be adopted into a home with young children because I am so small. I have a low to medium energy range and I ride well in a car. I will walk on a leash and I am paper trained. I love to be cuddled and loved on. I'm not a yappy girl. I am happy to sleep on a dog bed in my fosters bedroom, but would also be happy sleeping in the bed with my new family. I'm ready and waiting to go to my new forever home!
