My name is Piper! I'm 8 years old and weighs 21 lb. I was to render to the rescue because my owner passed away. No one in the family wanted me. I am very sweet and gentle. I'm a little on the shy side but come around quickly. I enjoy being outside for some exploring and sunbathing but I'm equally happy to be indoors in my little doggie bed. I walk well on a leash and I am housebroken if taken out regularly. I listen well and I'm very treat oriented. I love carrots as well as dog treats. I have a low energy level and am very easygoing. I get along well with other dogs and would probably be fine with cats it's easy going as I am. The rescue does not have any cats to test me with. I do not have any joint problems, and I see and hear well. I enjoy being petted and I ride well in the car. I'm not yappy. I am I a wonderful companion. I'm ready and waiting to go to my new forever home.
