My name is Precious! I am approximately 6 years old and I weigh 9 lbs. I'm fostered in Mount Airy, North Carolina but easy, affordable transportation is available. I was turning into the rescue because my owner/breeder was unable to take care of me any longer. I am AKC registered, but papers will not accompany me. I am extremely sweet and love all of the petting that I can get. I'm good with other dogs and children. I won't be adopted into a home with young children because of my size. I don't know about cats because the rescue doesn't have any, but I don't think that I would do any more than bark at one anyway. I'm not really big enough to hurt a cat. I have a medium energy level and I am a true lap baby! I will sit in a lap for as long as I am allowed to.. I have not learned to like the leash yet, but a harness would work better than a collar for me, especially because I am so little. I am shy around new people and in new surroundings, as you can tell in the pictures and video. I was in a part of the yard I've never been before. I'm not a big barker but will bark when the other foster dogs bark. I ride in the car well and I come when I am called. I have a medium energy level. I like to play with toys and other dogs. I am working on house training. I'm ready and waiting to go to my new forever home.
