My name is Rex! I am one year old and I weigh 36 lbs. I have short legs and a long body. I have been surrendered to the rescue because my owner worked long hours and and did not believe that I was getting the attention that I needed. I am fostered in Mount Airy, North Carolina but easy, affordable transportation is available. I absolutely love to play with toys and other dogs. Sometimes I will bring the toys back to you unless I want you to chase me. I haven't spent any time around cats. I ride well in the car and I am well behaved in the house. I'm house trained and walk on a leash (though I do pull sometimes). I'm used to sleeping in my crate on a pillow with the door open. I'm good with children but may be two rambunctious for young children. I will need daily exercise and I'm happy to take all the loving that I can get! I have a medium level. I bark at strangers but warm up quickly. A second video is available of me meeting my foster for the first time on the rescue website. I'm ready and waiting to go to my new forever home!
