*Hi! I'm Rufus! My owner's surrendered me due to a new living situation so now I'm looking for my new, TRUE and loving forever home! Yes, I'm a cutie and you truly couldn't ask for a better dog than me! I trained myself to detect seizures for one of my former owners. I would let him know before it happened. I'm approx. 8 years old and approx. 10-12 pounds(9/16). I'm extremely sweet, loving, friendly and a little playful. You'll see how wonderful I am in my video. I'm great with kids and other dogs. I bark at cats but do not hurt them. I'm highly intelligent and mind well, inside and out. I'm house and leash trained. I have a low to medium energy level. I have a very gentle and submissive temperament. That said, I'm protective of kids and love to play with them. I really enjoy being petted and loved on. I love being held and being a lap baby! I sleep right next to my foster. I love going for car rides and ride well. I follow my foster everywhere she goes. I love to ride on the footplate of her motorized chair. I will need a fenced in yard and have to go for walks on a leash because I like to chase critters once and a while. I hope my new forever person or family treats me like the prince I am!
