My name is Scooby! The vet thinks that I am about 2 years old. My owner died and I was taken in by a family member. I was turned in to the rescue because I was aggravating her senior dog trying to play to much. I am very sweet, and love everybody. I spent most of my time sitting in my previous owner's lap, and snuggling under the covers in my new moms bed. Now that I am in foster care, I sleep right up next to my foster mom. I get along well with other dogs and enjoy a good game of chase with another dog. I have not been cat tested because the rescue does not have any cats but I'm not big enough to hurt a cat. I do need a fenced yard because I like to explore. I'm good about coming when called, but only if I'm ready to. If I'm still exploring, or sunning, you will probably have to come outside and pick me up. I love sitting and napping on a lap. I enjoy wearing a sweater, especially in the winter time. I hardly ever bark. I don't ask to go outside to potty, but do pretty good with housebreaking if taken out on a regular schedule. I may be puppy pad trained but my foster mom cannot leave puppy pads down because the other dogs will shred them. I'm ready and waiting to go to my new forever home! I am looking for home with another small dog so that I will have a playmate. You will need a veterinarian reference from a vet that has provided long-term care to your current / previous dogs to be able to adopt me. (I will not be adopted into a home with young children because I am so small.)
