My name is Slater! I am being called Slayton in my video because the person making the video got my name mixed up with my buddy. I am 9 months old and weigh 23 lbs. I am 15" tall at the shoulder (8/6). Since I am 9 months old, I shouldn't grow much more. I am fostered in Danbury, North Carolina but easy, affordable transportation is available. I came to the rescue from a high kill county shelter. I am a very sweet, loving boy! I am smart and learn quickly. I get along well with other dogs of all ages and sizes and really like playing with them. I'm not sure how I am with cats because the rescue doesn't have any. I also love playing with my people and spending time with them. I love to be petted and loved on! I ride well in the car and will load right up into my crate. I am working on house training. I walk on a leash. but In my video I was keeping an eye on my foster mom. I have really bonded with her. I'm good with children and men also though. I am very friendly and have a submissive temperament. I have a happy, easy going personality and a medium energy level. I only bark when the other dogs are barking. I'm a great little companion plus I am the perfect apartment size! I am ready and waiting to go to my new forever home!
