My name is Slayton! I am 8 months old and 19 inches tall at the shoulder (7/23). Because I am already 8 months old, I shouldn't grow much taller. I am fostered in Danbury, North Carolina but easy, affordable transportation is available. I was turned into a high kill county shelter with my buddy Slater, but I'm not sure why because we are both such happy, loving boys! We get along great with each other and with other dogs of all sizes and ages. In fact, one of our favorite playmates is the Great Pyrenees in our foster home. Even though we do get along so well with each other, we are not a bonded pair and do not need to be adopted together. I am a fun loving boy with a very happy personality. I love people and I really enjoy being with them. I love to be petted and played with. l walk on a leash and I ride well in the car. I don't bark a lot. I have a medium energy level. I'm good with kids. I don't know if I'm good with cats because the rescue doesn't have any. I am neutered, heartworm negative, and up-to-date on my vaccines. I'm a wonderful little companion with lots of love to give! I'm ready and waiting to go to my new forever home!
