My name is Waylon! I am two years old and I weigh 45 pounds. I am neutered, up-to-date on my rabies and DHPP vaccines, and I am heartworm negative. I am fostered in Danberry, North Carolina but easy, affordable transportation is available. My previous owner left me behind when they moved away. They had indoor cats, but the rescue is not sure if I was in the house with them or not. The people that bought the house has other dogs (large and small) that I played with and occasionally we were taken down to the river to get to play in the water. That was really fun! Unfortunately my current owner cannot keep me because she has to many other dogs and is surrendering me to the rescue. I am extremely sweet and friendly to everyone! I greet people with a wagging tail! I love lots of attention and petting, and I especially love treats. I will sit for a treat. I ride well in the car and I walk pretty good on a leash. I am well behaved in the house and do not really bark very much. I am very laid-back and I am very gentle. I have a medium energy level and a submissive temperament. As you can see in my video, I did have three long mats under my tail. I did not have mats anywhere else on my body, so the rescue is guessing that I had not been brushed in a very, very long time. The rescue does not think that matting is really going to be a problem with my coat since I did not have any mats in the other usual places. I am ready and waiting to go to my new forever home. I am full of love to give, I just need a family to give it to!
