My name is Jackson! I am 5 years old and I weigh 8 lbs. I am fostered in Mount Airy, North Carolina but easy, affordable transportation is available. I was turned in to the rescue by a breeder. I am AKC registered but no papers will come with me. I am a very, very loving boy! My favorite thing to do is sit in someone's lap.. I follow my foster from room to room and I sleep under her bed. I am an excellent companion! I do well around wheelchairs. I only bark when the other dogs are barking or if I get really excited. I ride well in the car. I do not try to dart out of the door when it is open. I come when I called. I have a low to medium energy level. I get along well with other dogs. I don't know about cats because the rescue doesn't have any. I'm good with children but will not be adopted into a home with young children because I'm so small. I'm ready and waiting to go to my new forever-home.
