Hi! I'm Barbie! My sister, Skippy, and I have lived in a barn stall our whole lives with our mother and her new litter of puppies. Our previous owner never even gave us a name! She finally surrendered us and now we are looking for our forever home! We are a bonded pair and rely heavily on each other's company. We hope to find a forever home that will take us both and treat us like the little princesses we are! We are approx. 1 year old and approx. 20 -25 pounds(2/2). I'm a little shy at first but will warm up once i know I can trust you. Barbie is a little more timid and takes her lead from me. You'll see how wonderful we are in our video! I'm a little more outgoing than my sister. We love to play with each other and other dogs! We play tug of war and chase around the dog house. We love to play keep away when we find a new toy to play with! But we do share our toys with the other dogs and take turns nicely. We haven't been tested with kids or cats. We probably would not be a good fit for families with young children because of our timidness. Young children are so quick and can be so loud that it may be scary for us. We need a nice calm quiet environment with someone willing to spend time with us. We are pretty smart and learn quickly. We want to please you -we just need some training so we know what you want us to do. We love treats and have learned to go in our crate to eat and sleep. Our crate stays clean all night. We are now leash trained and currently working on house training. We have a gentle and submissive temperaments. I really enjoy being scratched behind my ears!. We have a medium energy level. We are inquisitive and curious. We have found a hole in the fence before and slipped out, but then just slipped back in once we explored the yard a little bit. We didn't run off - we stayed right in the yard. That was fun while it lasted, until my foster fixed the hole.
