My name is Angel! I am 1 yr. old and I weigh approximately 35 lb. I am only 17 in tall at the shoulder! I and fostered in Mount Airy, North Carolina but easy, affordable transportation is available. I am one of the sweetest girls you will ever find! I have an excellent disposition and a submissive temperament. I love to be with people and really love being petted! I'm great with children and have been around infants and toddlers. I tolerate the ear pulling and other antics of toddlers by either walking away or will roll over as a submissive act. If I can somehow get a tummy rub out of it, all the better! When I am outdoors with someone, I will happily follow them around the yard. I walk well on a leash, but don't really need one to stay with my person. I am very mellow and laid-back. I have a low to medium energy level. I greet strangers with a wagging tail and I rarely bark. I'm good with other dogs of all sizes and enjoy playing with them. The people that have me do not know if I have been around cats or not. I never leave the yard and will stay out of the road. I'm very well behaved. I don't try to get in the trash inside or outside. I like to play with chew toys but have never chewed up anything that I wasn't supposed to have. I am scheduled to be spayed in July but I can be adopted beforehand with a reduced adoption fee because the people that took me in need to find a new home for me quickly. In my video I am kind of mouthy, but I'm very gentle. I could easily be trained not to do this. A second video is available on the rescue website.
